It is my honor to be writing this first homepage for the 2009-2010 National Venturing Cabinet.  This year is going to be an amazing year and I would like to invite all of you to join us throughout our terms this year by following along with our activities and seeing exactly what your National Venturing Cabinet does to impact the Venturing Program on a national scale and how that impact then translates all the way across to the individual crew.

This National Cabinet website has served many Cabinets well throughout the years.  This year, it will remain the premier source for the inside accounts on all of our activities, travels, and accomplishments.  Make sure to check in frequently because as of the end of this summer, many new sections and forms of media will be coming to the site.  So make sure to not miss out!

This year marks the final year of Scouting's first one hundred years; let us, this year, help each other to assure Venturing's continued standing as a prominent and successful part of the Boy Scouts of America and its continuing efforts to serve the Youth of this Nation over the next one hundred years, and beyond.

Yours in Scouting,
Matthew McGroarty
